Summer 2026

We will be open for 2 weeks this summer for our Teens to work seriously on honing their skills and add to their portfolios, and for our Middle School students to explore both art and fashion projects of their choice.

OPEN STUDIO

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This new program for students 11+ (limited to 7 students) offers a diverse range of artistic expression and technique, including acrylic and oil painting classes led by Michelle. She will also teach sculpture and multimedia art making. Perfect for the student who is interested in a Pre-College type class. Michelle has taught many pre college classes and has helped her students put together portfolios.

And for those interested in textiles, we offer an introduction to painting on silk, embroidery, and both hand and machine sewing.

INSTRUCTORS:
Michelle is the owner and teacher here at The House of Colors and has her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University.

Our teacher helpers have degrees from colleges, and some were student’s at The House of Colors.
